Welcome to July! How are you? Can you believe it's the new financial year already? Yikes.
Well, it's Friday and I thought it might be nice to post an update.
During the last few weeks, I've been updating files and reading. It might be winter around here but I've already got the spring cleaning bug and that means sorting things out. I started with my laptop by deleting, amalgamating, and streamlining my folders and pictures. Not just writing ones, pretty much everything. It's a WIP that never ends but when my files get cluttered, I can't think straight. So I'm glad the hard work is sorted.
Since I updated my website, it's a lot easier to change/fix/add things. And that's exactly what I did to celebrate the release of WHERE THE MOOD LEADS. Have you checked it out yet? It's a great anthology and I'm so happy to be a part of it.

Yesterday I found out that my UF cozy fantasy novel, FALLEN DESTINY, is a semifinalist in the Small Spec Book Awards! How exciting is that? I was surprised and very happy to hear that my demonic detective with abandonment issues has made it this far. Yay.
Well, asides from all the sorting, updating, reading and hanging out, I've been obsessing over THE VAMPIRE LESTAT. Are you watching this brilliant show? I absolutely LOVE it. And the music is SO good I can't stop listening to all the tunes that have appeared on the show already.
As far as writing goes... at the moment I'm in that place where bits and pieces from different stories keep surfacing. I take notes and daydream about the ideas and think about the characters that won't shut up. But because they're all talking at the same time, I haven't decided on which story to work on first. It might be time to put together a list to help me decide where to start...
