Very cool cover, huh?So this was my reward for getting another first draft finished last week. And it was so good, it certainly felt like a reward. I love the Sazi series by CT Adams and Cathy Clamp, so when I found out this was coming out, I couldn't wait!
It was well-worth the wait! It's absolutely awesome.
Kate Reilly is a very likable character and her voice was terrific. I got hooked into the story from the first word. Honestly - it's got a lot of action, a cast of wonderful characters, set in an interesting place and the dynamics between each character is outstanding. And let's not forget the plot. Wow! I love what they've done with the vampires in this book. The Thrall aren't your average vamp. There's nothing cuddly about them and they live in a hive mentality which I thought was awesomely clever. Tom Bishop was terrific too. I can't wait to see where this series takes us next.
Cie, Cathy -- you've both done another terrific job with this book! I loved it and recommend it to everyone! You've gotta do yourself a favour and check it out... now!
