So close...

( ################= )
76,606 / 80,000 : 95.8%

As you can see from the progress bar, I am so close to being finished I can see the ending... and I think tomorrow might be the day. There's one more scene I want to write to tie everything up and leave it ready for the next novel. I'm very excited, not only about how the storyline developed and turned out, but also about getting it done within 4 weeks!

Gotta go, not feeling the best at the moment, my stomach's cramping up for some reason...

Lots o' Bad

Yep, that just about covers what happened during today's writing session! Phew, she pretty much gets herself into one horrible thing after another... but when you think about it, sometimes life is like that for real, right? Sure, I'm talking otherworldly kinda trouble in this instance, but still.

I reckon I'll be able to get this first draft done by the end of the week, if not sooner. Then I'll be taking a week off before starting the third book! Makes me tired just thinking about it but this story just won't let me go. This character's story just has to get out of my head and I'm having a great time writing it.

So how was everyone's weekend?

Mine was great and relaxing. The weather was pretty good both days - well, except for the thunderstorm last night - and we got a few things done. With a lot of relaxing thrown in there. I'm working my way through this cool Nintendo DS game called Trace Memory that the hubby got for me, and am currently in the music room... there are a few things I need to work out before being able to move further along in the game.

We also watched Supernatural, Medium and House -- of course they were all wonderfully entertaining. I'm really glad we decided to keep these shows and to be honest with you, I haven't even missed Lost or Desperate.

Friday 24 February 2006

End of week:

Gee, just got back from picking up my daughter. It's hot and really sunny!

So how was everyone's week? Mine was pretty busy, as you can tell from my previous posts.

Got really caught up in the writing today. The scene was a long one, a confrontation the main character didn't expect. A total surprise, but totally involved - both physically and emotionally. It's amazing how much it can take out of you. Sometimes when I'm writing, I get so wrapped up in it that I feel like I'm there. The pictures of the scene are playing so vividly inside my mind it feels like I'm watching a movie. Well, this scene was like that. I could see and feel everything like I was caught up in the middle of all the chaos.

It's kinda magical, isn't it?

But here's the progress bar:

( ##############=== )
66,825 / 80,000 : 83.5%

I'm at the stage in the story where the end is so close I can feel it but before getting there, there's still a few things left to happen... to wrap everything up. The way I'm going, it looks like I'll be able to finish before my self-imposed deadline - which is next Friday.

:)

There was a lot going on in the chunk of writing I got out today. I woke up a little tired this morning and all the action, fighting and revelations made me super tired during the 5k+ that poured outta me!

Phew... I think I need a nap - LOL! :D Though it's not an option - just picked up my daughter from school.

Still watching SFU eps during my lunch break. Gee, it sounds a little funny writing that, but it's exactly what I do. I'm about halfway through the season now, can't wait to see how this one ends. The fifth and final season comes out here in May sometime. I wonder how they ended everything?

Writing along...

Okay, so now I'm up to:

( ############===== )
57,378 / 80,000 : 71.7%

Last night I got a chance to sit down and write the main points that need attention during the last leg of the novel. And well, three large notecards (both sides) later I pretty much had everything down. Now I've got those points in front of me when I write. I have a pretty good idea of where everything's going, though how I get there happens when I sit down to write.

And today I got another pretty large chunk down. I'm ahead on my personal daily word count goals. And this makes me smile. Can't wait to get stuck into more of it tomorrow!

Watched another SFU ep today. Gee, I don't know what's going on with these people. The writers of this show really know how to write drama, that's for sure.

80s Wednesday

Okay... today I thought I'd mention:

Corey Haim

After seeing him in THE LOST BOYS, I couldn't get enough of his movies. Though I reckon his character in TLB was the best character he ever played. I was also a huge fan of the Two Coreys - though Haim was always my favourite!
Then one day he just faded into obscurity - gone. He developed a drug problem and I guess that became more important than the actual acting. It's too bad. He was pretty good on screen and I thought he was the cutest! I had posters of him all over my bedroom walls, school books, folders... anywhere and everywhere.
It's a real shame about him!

Writing & Watching

Ah, the sun's back! YAY! It keeps coming and going... it's been really hot around here lately, a bit of a cool breeze every now and then but mostly still warm.

So I'm still watching Six Feet Under eps while my daughter's at school. After we drop her off I get home and get stuck into the writing until about midday. I stop to give myself an hour or so off to eat lunch and watch something. As I mentioned last week I'm working my way through SFU season 4. I watched ep 4 and 5 so far this week and it helps me relax and get back to writing for another couple of hours before I walk to my daughter's school.

Today's ep was particularly disturbing because one of them got carjacked by some looney with a gun. Gee, the worst thing about that situation is some people out there in the world are actually this nuts! For real. Ugh, what a distrubing thought.

Okay, here's the daily listing of progress:

( ###########====== )
52,469 / 80,000 : 65.6%

I really gotta get a notecard out sometime today and write down everything that needs to be finalised in this novel. I usually find myself doing this during a first draft's downward spiral towards the end. It helps me include everything I set up in the plot. Thinking about it also helped me realise one of the things I was going to include in this novel, will now be a better fit in the third one.

Hope everyone has a GREAT day!

It's another week!

Check this out:

( ##########======= )

Man, today was one of those writing days! I really could've kept going for several more hours than I did. Honestly, the words were coming pretty quick today and I figured out a plot point that was kinda niggling away at my mind during the weekend. It is so cool to have figured it out. I really like the direction the novel's taking overall, though the last scene I wrote today made me feel a little uncomfortable.

What was that thing about making your characters suffer? :)

Okay, so the hubby and I have made a few executive decisions as far as TV watching goes. Although last week's eposide of LOST had a little more in it than the last one, it's still pissing me off. So, we've decided to cut it out of our viewing. I really can't stand to waste more time going around in circles. I know there'll probably be some cool things happening later in the season but right now I really don't care!

And while we're on a roll, we're also dropping Desperate Housewives. Honestly, I LOVED the first season. Very cool and things were wrapped up but this season seems to be more of the same. I'm sick of Gabrielle's bitchy, selfish ways and I even forgot she was pregnant for a while there. Susan is ANNOYING! Honestly, if you knew a woman like this you'd have to slap her silly. Mike! Why are you breaking up with Mike? Bree's mother-in-law is annoying me to the point of can't stand it and although Lynette's my fave, it's still not enough to keep me watching. And the basement? Who cares. I'm really getting tired of being strung along for the duration of 22+ episodes.

Especially when there are sooooo many cool books on my bookshelf waiting to be read.

So the updated list of shows we watch each week is now:

SUPERNATURAL -- I love this show. And the guys are ultra cool... and of course, CUTE!
HOUSE -- LOVE it! He's so sarcastic and cruel. One of the best characters ever!
MEDIUM -- once again, I love this show! Alison Dubois is way cool and interesting.

Anyway, gotta get going now because for some reason the floors just refuse to sweep and mop themselves! ;)

Friday 17 February 2006

Very Summer-y

Not sure what the temperature is, but it sure feels like a nice sunny, summer day today! I guess we'll get a few of these days during the end of this month as a way to farewell summer.

Just finished getting words done for today:

( #########======== )
43,683 / 80,000 : 54.6%

I'm very happy with the progress I'm making with this novel - not just the word count but the content. There's so much going on at the moment.

Well, after I pick up my daughter from school today - which is only about an hour away - we need to come home, get her changed out of her uniform and walk over to a birthday party. I know, it's a strange time to have the party - 4pm to 6pm - but she wants to go! So that'll suck up most of the afternoon and by the time we get home, the hubby should be home from work too. And that's when the weekend begins!

:)

Thursday 16 February 2006

Halfway there!

Damn, I'm so tired today! Worked out a little later than usual last night, watched House (which never disappoints!) and got to sleep really late. Didn't want to get up this morning. :( And now I've got a headache!

Writing didn't help my tired body. There was a bit of action and plenty of tension going on in the scenes I wrote, so it made me mentally tired on top of the physical strain. But on the plus side, I was surprised once again and I'm halfway through the book. Very exciting stuff.

( #########======== )

Got a few more books in the mail, which is definitely always a good thing. Now I just need to start reading them!

Wednesday 15 February 2006

Gloomy...

... weather sure sucks when you're walking in it, but it's fine when you spend the day writing. And since it's pretty much all I do Monday to Friday, the sun hiding behind the clouds isn't so much of a big deal anymore. :)

Or maybe I'm just trying to psyche myself up because Autumn's just around the corner.

During our daily walk there's this really nice path lined with trees on either side beside the river. As you approach it on a sunny day it looks gorgeous and green with a nice breeze to ease the heat. But as we walked in the gloom yesterday, the grass and path was lined with fallen yellow/brown leaves. That's when it hit me -- we're so much closer to autumn than summer now. Agh. It always happens, I mourn the end of summer! :(

Anyway, check this out:

Is it really weird to be so caught up in my own WIP that I just can't bring myself to read anything at the moment? The weekend before starting this first draft I read the beginning of a really cool book and even got halfway through but after starting my own, I just couldn't bring myself to pick it up again. It's like any available moment I've got, I want to spend thinking about my own story - writing down things that keep jumping into my mind at all times of the day and night.

It's a little strange but totally awesome to be enjoying the writing process so much.

Watched the second ep of Six Feet Under today. Gee, these people are really f***ed up! Honestly, they're all insane and totally self-involved, not to mention kinda pathetic! But I absolutely love the show! :D

80s Wednesday

Ah, still in a vampire type of mood... so I chose THE LOST BOYS soundtrack this week...

Here's a list of the songs, if you're interested.

I absolutely loved this soundtrack. And probably listened to it a thousand times! I'm sure I drove everyone crazy with it, but it was so inspirational! There were a whole bunch of cool songs accompanying a terrific movie and I used to listen to it while writing my teenage vampire story back in the late 80s - on my cassette player. He! He! But the gloomy and haunting sound of 'Cry Little Sister' was the best one to write to.

Very inspirational...

Tuesday 14 February 2006

Much better!

Watched another ep of Supernatural last night. It was about a shapeshifter who could mimic the form of anybody. What a scary thought, huh? But I enjoyed it a lot. Can't wait to find out what's special about Sam. You just know there's something about him...

Also worked out on the TotalGym last night and it really helped my back. After we did abs the pain really dwindled away. It's great! And a great dreamless, deep sleep also helped heaps. Looking forward to a walk and some yoga later.

So I did some more writing today:

(######=========== )
30,185 / 80,000 : 37.7%

There were a few things that really clicked into place today. I'm having a lot of fun writing this novel, seeing where things are going. And as I move further along, the ideas for the third book concrete more and more inside my mind. It's amazing. So many puzzle pieces are fitting in very well together.

While taking an hour off to eat lunch, I popped in the 4th season of Six Feet Under - which we have on DVD. Any of you guys watch this show -- or at least watched? There were only 5 seasons made, right? The episode was really sad. I watch this show on my own and I figured an ep a day (or so) would be a great reward for writing new words!

Oh, forgot to mention anything about Valentine's Day, which happens to be today. Well, since it slipped my mind you probably already know it doesn't mean that much to me. IMHO, I reckon it's just another way for businesses to make money from cards, flowers and stuffed toys. If you love someone, it should be shown and felt every single day, without the need for monetary items. But that's just me. ;)

Happy week everyone!

Monday 13 February 2006

A little tired...

Yeah, I guess everything just caught up with me on the weekend. Don't know why. But I do know I was exhausted -- especially yesterday. I felt all worn out and lethargic and didn't feel better until we did some yoga in the afternoon. Maybe I just needed to stretch out my muscles and squeeze some toxins out. LOL!

We sat down to watch Law and Order Criminal Intent last night and were disappointed to see Vincent D'Onofrio and Kathryn Erbe had been replaced by Chris Noth and Annabella Sciorra! Without any explanation. Okay, so I like Chris Noth - he was ultra smooth and cool as Mr. Big but C.I isn't C.I without Detective Goren. We found out it's gonna be one week each or something like that. A bit disappointed. I don't know, might have to give it up!

And then I had a really bad night. Couldn't sleep. Agh. As a result I woke up with a really sore back. It's a little better now, but it hurt like hell earlier.

So I wrote when I got home from dropping my daughter off at Kindy and then popped into the Katie MacAlister minion chat for a while. It's always fun to catch up with the girls there, they're a lot of fun. Had some lunch and then sat for another couple of hours to write some more.

And this is the progress bar:

( ######=========== )
26,188 / 80,000 : 32.7%

Moving along quite nicely. Surpassed my goal for today. That's always a great thing. There were just a few scenes so vivid in my mind, I just had to get them done before picking up the little girl from school. Can't wait to get back to it tomorrow, kinda left it as a bit of a cliff hanger for myself to get back to.

Friday 10 February 2006

Novel Maths

Last Sunday, as I was preparing my notes for the latest WIP, I told myself it could be written in 4 weeks. Of course, 80,000 words in 4 weeks sounds a little daunting. But when I looked back at the stats I kept for previous first drafts I discovered it took me 6 weeks to write anywhere between 80-92,000 words. And that was with my daughter going to preschool two days a week. Back then I was aiming for 10,000 words a week. That was a great and doable target to meet.

But now I'd have five days, so why not?

Okay, so that's 80,000 divided by 4 weeks = 20,000 words a week.

Then take 20,000 and divide by 5 days (taking weekends off!) = 4,000 words a day.

And that's how I got my daily target.

So far this week I've managed to stay a little above that, which brings me to today's progress:

( #####============ )
21,512 / 80,000 : 26.9%

I'm very happy with the progress. And I'm not just talking about the whole writing maths of it. Sure that's great, I love meeting personal goals but the story's taking shape. I sit down and I'm excited about what's going to happen next. Some mornings I sat down and had no idea what was going to happen, while others I knew the direction. Both ways work for me. I'm what you call a pantser or an organic writer. I take notes, not outlines. I've never been able to write anything which was planned out chapter-by-chapter. Don't know why, just can't do it. But note taking, love to take notes and some chapters are solidly visible inside my mind... but mostly, I see where everything leads naturally...

My daughter got her first merit bug today. It's a little system they have going at her school where they get a certain amount of bugs before receiving a certificate. Very cute. I'm so proud of her, it's only her second week!

So LOST was on last night and I'm totally peed off. OMG, this was the second ep in the second season and I was so disappointed. Got that love-hate thing going again. My gosh, we didn't see anything new. It was all rehashed stuff we already knew about. I mean, the Mike and Walt backstory! I get it, he lost Walt again and it sparked off memories of the first time he lost him. Yeah, that's all good and all but something new would've been much, much better! Please tell me we get some sort of answers soon. What's with the guy in the bunker anyway? Hope it’s a better ep next week!

This weekend we gotta watch MEDIUM and another ep of Supernatural. Yes, looking forward to my paranormal fix... which reminds me, the hubby finished reading ghost yesterday and he really enjoyed it. He also pointed out a few typos and stuff - he's an awesome proofreader who always gives me an honest opinion about what he reads.

Anyway, hope you all have a TERRIFIC weekend!

Thursday 9 February 2006

Productive!

( ####============= )
17,786 / 80,000 : 22.2%

I'm feeling really good today! I wrote quite a chunk and they're all words leading the heroine into some very dangerous, uncomfortable and confusing situations. And I'm excited! It sounds a little cruel, don't you think? To be excited and happy when the characters are heading down a very dark path I'm gladly leading them into.

Writers can be so cruel to their own creations, don't you think? But hey, it's not all me pushing them this way and that. They're showing me a whole bunch of things as we move along I hadn't even expected. Like the new menace introduced yesterday was totally a shock to me and has now added layers to the main storyline!

I gotta say, I'm feeling a spark of positivity now that my muse gets a chance to go nuts without restrictions. I mean, don't get me wrong, I miss my daughter heaps during the day but she loves Kindy and is learning so much already.

So we watched the first ep of the second season of Desperate Housewives last night. I loved it! They're all such terrible people but funny... and could Susan be any dumber? Honestly, the woman has serious issues and she could definitely use a little more food in her system! House was as excellent as always. Hugh Laurie's utterly brilliant in that role.

Oh, and Jim -- so sorry to hear about your dad. Sending lots of good vibes for him via the net and I hope everything goes well. And yeah, visiting the US sometime in the future is definitely something I'd love to do someday. HEY CIE! How you doing?

:)

Wednesday 8 February 2006

Progress for today:

( ###============== )
13,436 / 80,000 : 16.8%

It's all going well. I've caught up with some regulars, introduced a few new ones (that desperately needed names) and even had something happen I wasn't expecting. There's a new menace in town!

Well, hope everyone's doing well. Looks like we're all pretty busy, haven't had many visitors around lately. Except for Jimbo! How you doing Jim? Thanks for stopping by and I hope you're having a cool week. And yeah, Supernatural kicks major butt. That show is way cool... wish we weren't so far behind!

:)

80s Wednesday

Well, since I'm working on something vampiric... here's today's pick:

Wikipedia states: The Lost Boys is a 1987 American comedy/horror film about young Californians who must fight a gang of teenage vampires. It stars Jason Patric, Corey Haim, Kiefer Sutherland, Jami Gertz, Corey Feldman, Dianne Wiest, Edward Herrmann, Alex Winter, and Barnard Hughes.

Well... what can I say about this movie? As soon as I saw the trailer for it, I was hanging to watch it but had to wait for the video release. And when that came out! Gee, I watched it for the first time with amazement. Everything about it suckered me in from the beginning. I loved it soooooo much I'd watch it almost every single day after school! I drove my family nuts with it.

But I just couldn't get enough. This movie is awesome and totally responsible for my obsession with anything vampire. It inspired me to write my first novel in my teens about a vampire, of course! :) And since then, well, I still hold this movie dear to my heart. It was a fun ride, with a bunch of cute actors, cool music and VAMPIRES! Vampires, people! And has anyone seen Jason Patric look better than he did in this movie? I don't think so...

Anyway, THE LOST BOYS had a huge impact on my life and is one of my favourite movies of all time!

Tuesday 7 February 2006

More Supernatural...

Gosh, Supernatural sure is GREAT! Okay, so great doesn't really do it justice... I should be saying AWESOME! I am hooked. Can't get enough of it, wish it was on every single night. The stuff they touch on, absolutely fascinates me. It's what I like to watch, read and of course -- write! And they did a great job at casting the Winchester brothers too.

Top episode last night. There should be more shows like this one out there!

I enjoyed writing some more today. I miss my little girl being at Kindy, but it helps me stay very productive. I just put butt-to-chair and start typing. Before I realise it a few hours have slipped by... it's totally freaky. In a cool way.

So here's the word count update:

( ##============== )
9,703 / 80,000 : 12.1%

The story's unfolding quicker than I thought it would. Once again, can't wait to get stuck into it some more tomorrow!

Monday 6 February 2006

Something New.

Okay, so today was the day. I finally started something new! YAY!

I'm very excited and got stuck right into it.

Here's today's progress for vamp2:

( #============== )
6,996 / 80,000 : 8.7%

I know the progress bar is a little lame, but I couldn't get anything else to work. The cool modern looking ones just refuse to post for some unknown (at least to me!) reason. I took off where chapter one left off and even included some cool new things I didn't have on my list of notes.

Okay, got some more books:

Bitten & Smitten by Michelle Rowen
Circus of the Darned by Katie Maxwell
Moon Called by Patricia Briggs
Shadow Touch by Marjorie M Liu
Avalon High by Meg Cabot
Awaken Me Darkly by Gena Showalter (arrived in the mail)
Shadows in the Darkness by Elaine Cunnigham (arrived in the mail)

I'm still expecting three more books I got online and another to arrive at the bookstore. Gee, I wonder if I've got a book addiction of some sort. (?) What'd you guys think? ;)

So, we watched LOST the other night. OMG! It was awesome. I just knew this show would sucker me in from the start again. Agh. Got Supernatural on tonight. Can't wait, looks like another good one. And since there are so many shows to watch, the hubby and I decided to drop one off the list. We're not even gonna watch the first ep of Prison Break. Firstly, it's one we haven't had a chance to get stuck into and don't know too much about. Secondly, the hubby reminded me that I get all creeped out and weirded out with prison movies etc. And lastly, there's always DVD release dates, right?

Well, can't wait to get stuck into some more writing tomorrow. I've set myself a daily word count goal of 4,000. I think since my daughter's at school Mon-Fri, it's a very doable target. And anything I get above, well, that's a bonus.

Happy writing everyone! Please, feel free to share your progress! It's so exciting to be working on another first draft.

Friday 3 February 2006

It's Friday...

*breathing a sigh of relief*

And I can rest easy on the weekend knowing I met another self-imposed deadline. Yep, that's right, I got the demon final draft completed by midday today. Yay! I'm really excited. That's three novels finalised. Sure, two of them still need a synopsis, but hey -- I'm excited!

Final word count was 71,444 -- 342 pages in 12 Courier font.

I'm also very happy to have made the decision to finish this novel during last weekend. It was a spur of the moment decision that paid off. I would've felt really bad leaving it hanging the way it was. I had more fun reading the novel this time round. Trying to stifle the sequel ideas on this one, though one of the other characters sparked off an idea or two. Who knows? Maybe one day I'll write her story... but for now. Phew! It's done.

Now, this afternoon I think I'll have to tackle a few home duties I've been ignoring as a result of this latest revision. :) But not before picking up my little girl from school. Gee, that sounds strange. It's still all so new!

Thursday 2 February 2006

Check it out!

If you're interested in checking out another of my short stories, Shoreline Vigil is online at AlienSkin Magazine.

If you get a chance to read it, let me know what you think!

:)

Phew!

Gosh! It was really hot today. And not just hot, but blazing HOT! The type of weather that makes you sweat no matter what. Phew. Still, I'm not complaining since I've already mentioned how much I love summer, right? And since I'm revising a novel about a demoness heroine, I suppose the heat's pretty appropriate.

Today's progress was quite good:

258 / 344
(75.0%)

So LOST is back tonight. I'm looking forward to checking out what happens... though I gotta say I had a love-hate thing going with the Season 1 finale. I don't know, I felt a little used at the end. Kinda empty. Like I invested so much time into these characters and their situations but was left hanging with no answers whatsoever. Though I suppose the fact I'm interested in getting back into it says something about the magnetism and appeal of the show. Those writers certainly know what they're doing and I just know they've got an arc that'll eventually answer some questions. Fingers crossed. Here's hoping we get some answers pretty early in the second season.

I finished reading a fantastic book last night -- check out the entry below. There was certainly something special about Tiger Eye. I'm so glad I read it. It was just one of those books.

So my daughter's into the swing of Kindy. Sounds like she enjoyed it a lot more today. Yesterday must've been a little daunting. I know she was excited and all but it's such a different world from the preschool environment she's used to. Still, this is great for her development. Can't wait until she actually starts raving on about her day, she's still a little short with the details. Lol!

And her starting school has sparked off a whole bunch of memories from my primary school days. I can remember situations, feelings, music and people so clearly in my mind... it's a little eerie. At least I can be empathetic and clearly remember that sometimes it's very hard to be a kid!

Wednesday 1 February 2006

TIGER EYE

Okay, so I finished reading this wonderful book tonight and just had to rave about it. WOW, it was absolutely fantastic! Marjorie M Liu has certainly painted a beautiful story with words. The story is interesting and totally grabs you so much you become intoxicated with what's going on. Woah, and the characters are so emotionally charged I felt like I was living through everything with them.

It all starts when Dela buys a strange but gorgeous box in the Dirt Market while she's in China. Once she opens it she becomes part of a very magical situation. Oh, and Dela's got some metal powers of her own. The connection between Dela and Hari is utterly romantic and beautiful, every emotion perfectly portrayed until you find yourself cheering this couple on when the many obstacles that present themselves in their way seem too much.

Anyway, I loved it! Loved it, loved it, loved it. Honestly, Marjorie's got a terrific and unique voice. I can't wait to read more of her writing! The second in the Dirk & Steele series is out this month, it's called SHADOW TOUCH and I can't wait to read it.

I highly recommend this book. Awesome reading experience!

School!

Today was the first day of Kindy for my daughter. I think she had a good day, though she doesn't like to talk about her day much. She used to do the same with preschool. She looks very cute in her uniform. :) And got straight into drawing a butterfly before we even left her in the classroom. I hope she enjoys it, she was really looking forward to starting.

Here's my revision progress for today:

182 / 344
(52.9%)

And I'm really getting stuck into the story. The word count keeps going up and down, this one's a shorter novel. But that's alright, it's still fun to read through again. Hopefully I'll get it done by the end of Friday, that would be very cool!

We watched two more eps of Supernatural last night and are now up-to-date. Well, until next Monday night! I'm really loving this show. They tackle some interesting things and I can't wait to find out what the big bad is all about!

80s Wednesday

Oh man, I LOVED this show! Did you guys watch it?

And gee - Johnny Depp - who would've thought he'd bloom into the fantastic actor he is today? Well, actually, I did! ;) Honestly, he was terrific in this show. But asides from him, I pretty much enjoyed everything about it. Haven't watched it in years so I'm not sure how it would hold up today but I've got fond memories of it.

And that song at the beginning? Hell, it's running through my head right now!
