Hey...

It's me! You didn't forget about me, did you? ;)

Though I've been MIA for so long I wouldn't be surprised if you did. LOL.

For the past 11 days, hubby's been home and we enjoyed a lovely break together. It's been a long while since he had any annual leave with us, so we enjoyed it as much as we could. My daughter's on school holidays too, so it's been really cool. I had a great time, but was sad when hubby went back to work this morning. :( My daughter's still got the rest of the week off, as well as Monday. So she still has a little more time at home.

Speaking of my daughter, she made another doll for me using the WeeMee Avatar Creator on her iPad. It's so cute. That's supposed to be Loki beside me. He's not as ginger as the pic, but it's still a good representation of him.

Like I said above, we had a nice break. Though we did get a bout of food poisoning on Sunday that affected all of us. We're all recovering well. And we took Loki to his annual checkup and vaccine appointment yesterday. Everything's great, though the vet said he could stand to lose about half a kilo. Not bad. I think we can manage that.

So. Now that hubby's back to work, I'm going to do the same. I started out today by getting another interview done and emailed back. It's always awesome to get things off my to-do list. I have another blog post to write, but I'm going to leave it for tomorrow.

Oh, you know what I found out today? That A PATCH OF DARKNESS is already available for pre-order at Samhain, Amazon, and B&N. How awesome is that, huh? I'm very excited about this book and can't wait to hear what readers think of it. This is very exciting, since release date is now less than a month away. *bites fingernails*

There are a few other things on my to-do list for this week. I'd like to read through the SciFi novella I've been rewriting/revising. I printed it out and am hoping to have most of it read by the time my daughter goes back to school. I also want to pull out all of my Sierra stuff because the third book is whispering inside my head, and I really want to get started on it soon...

Well, that's it for today! See ya.
