Week, almost over

I have to admit, this week hasn't been kind to my reading. :(

Between focusing on the Sci-Fi rewrite and having something to do every day after school, I haven't had a proper chance to sit down with the book I'm currently reading. And it's such a good one too. It's Janet Evanovich's new one, Wicked Appetite.

I'm really enjoying it so far. It's got a lot of LOL moments. There's also a new set of zany characters. And Diesel. I like Diesel. Anyway, last night I actually got a chance to sit on the couch to read for a bit longer and reached page 98. Not bad. Except, I really could've kept going and going... I'm going to try and sneak in some more reading tonight.

This morning I got stuck into the rewrite right away. As of yesterday afternoon, I had 35pgs to go. But squeezing in another chapter this morning has helped shorten that amount by a bit. I'm now sitting on pg83/110. That's 27 pages left, which makes my goal of getting to the end by this afternoon a little more realistic. Fingers crossed. 

Still, I won't send it to my editor until next week. I'm aiming for Monday. Hopefully. Like I've mentioned before, finishing a project and putting it aside for a day or two before subbing helps everything sink into my brain. And if there are still any glowing errors or things I left out, I'll have enough time to fix it. :) Strange, but true.

Then I've got a bunch of other things I want to tackle.
