Friday ramblings...

Well, I enjoyed a lovely day with the hubby yesterday. No work, so we got to hang out together and just had a great ol' time. It's so much fun having him around. He's back at work today, but it's Friday, so that's okay. The weekend's just around the corner.

I sure hope the rain stops sometime today. I need to catch up on some laundry and would just love to enjoy a nice walk in the sun. The thing is, that even though it's raining and it's dark, it's still pretty warm outside. The temp hasn't really dropped much. It still feels like summer around here. Strange, strange weather. But hey, I'm not complaining. The longer we can put off winter, the better. Lol.

So, what's new with everyone? Any happy stuff to share?

I'm still moving along with the trilogy planning. I plan to get the final draft of the first book completed by the end of the month. I've got the three synopsis done now. And the first draft of the second book is done. I just need to start the third book, and the way the ideas are coming hard and fast, I may just be writing it sooner than later. I've reached that exciting time when the ideas are coming hard and fast. When snippets of conversation or images are hitting my brain when I least expect it, and if I don't write it all down, it'll slip away forever. I love this stage!

The excitement is making my fingers tingle to get started. And I know it's because I've spent so much time in Trina's world lately. She may not be the narrator for any of the three books (although she is for the first trilogy) but she still makes an appearance in all of them. It's a lot of fun.

Well, not much more going on around here. Though I did get an idea for a new YA story last night. I wrote the few things down that came to mind, but I won't be looking at it yet. I've got a lot of other things to write before that one. Lol.

Have a terrific weekend!
