Well, it's Wednesday already. Not sure why, but I can't wait for this week to be over. It's a very strange and melancholy one, and the sooner it's gone, the better. I also hope that it takes this horrid weather with it. Though, since we're heading towards winter, I kinda doubt it.
This week I've gotten stuck into a new novel revision - as I mentioned on Monday. At the moment, I'm sitting @ page 85/396. I figured that if I can get about 40 pages revised each day, I should be able to reach page 200 by Friday. And since I'm giving myself two weeks to get through it, that works out pretty well.
The novel I'm working on was written a few years back, and for some reason, I never got around to doing the second and third drafts. Which sucks because I'm really enjoying the story and the characters. But during second drafts, I have a love-hate relationship with the story. I'm not sure why, but it always happens. I get all moody and love the story one minute, only to hate it the next. That all goes away during the third draft, because that's when I re-find my love for writing the tale in the first place.
Strange, moody writer. ;)
Well, it's time to head out. My daughter will get out of school soon. I can't believe that her next lot of school holidays are about a month away.
Bye!
