D'ya know what I forgot today? I forgot all about 80s Wednesday... I got caught up in other things...
Anyway, here it is:
EYE OF THE TIGER by Survivor.
Okay, so I couldn't find the original single cover, but this'll serve the purpose.
I remembered this song this weekend when we were playing Singstar 80s. I love this song! Loved it back then and still love it now. There's something about this song that makes me wanna kick some butt! He. He.
And it isn't just because it was in Rocky III. Though I suppose that's the main reason why it's usually featured at some sort of sporting event.

Survivor's big breakthrough arrived in 1982 when they are asked by actor Sylvester Stallone to provide the theme song for his movie "Rocky III". Stallone had heard "Poor Man's Son" and wanted a song with a similar vibe. The band agreed to write him a song and soon released "Eye of the Tiger".
