SHADOW TOUCH

This is the second Dirk & Steele novel by Marjorie M. Liu. It's Artur's story. And what a story it is. Though he becomes isolated from the rest of the agency, the world these characters inhabit is widened further. We get to find out some very interesting things.

Artur can see, feel things with a single touch and Elena can heal people with the touch of her hand. Quite an amazing couple and when they meet, the connection is amazing!

There's just so much more to this story, and I really don't want to give anything away. So I'll just recommend it by saying there's a bit of everything in this book. If you haven't already checked it out, you gotta! And if you have, go ahead and share your opinion...

Can't wait for the next one in this series, it's out in July!

I really liked this one too -- the only thing I didn't like was that Liu tends to 'overphrase' some sentences, which caused me to lose some of the story.

I gave up on TIGER EYE early, though, and I guess I shouldn't have? I'm reading A TASTE OF CRIMSON right now, and I do have to say that she has a knack for making heroines that are not all blonde and busty and beautiful, and I still adore 'em.

HEY!

Is A TASTE OF CRIMSON good so far? I've got that one on my to-be-read pile as well. I'm looking forward to checking it out. And yeah, she's got a cool way of making her heroines in a way that you can't help but like 'em!

So far, A TASTE OF CRIMSON is pretty good! I didn't like the first novel, but I like Liu. It started out a bit slow (there's a LOT of setting to digest) but it's really picking up.

You'll probably enjoy it. :)

Oh cool, though I won't be reading any of the other Crimson books. I just wanna read Marjorie's one. I like her writing style. :)
