Writing & Watching

Ah, the sun's back! YAY! It keeps coming and going... it's been really hot around here lately, a bit of a cool breeze every now and then but mostly still warm.

So I'm still watching Six Feet Under eps while my daughter's at school. After we drop her off I get home and get stuck into the writing until about midday. I stop to give myself an hour or so off to eat lunch and watch something. As I mentioned last week I'm working my way through SFU season 4. I watched ep 4 and 5 so far this week and it helps me relax and get back to writing for another couple of hours before I walk to my daughter's school.

Today's ep was particularly disturbing because one of them got carjacked by some looney with a gun. Gee, the worst thing about that situation is some people out there in the world are actually this nuts! For real. Ugh, what a distrubing thought.

I really gotta get a notecard out sometime today and write down everything that needs to be finalised in this novel. I usually find myself doing this during a first draft's downward spiral towards the end. It helps me include everything I set up in the plot. Thinking about it also helped me realise one of the things I was going to include in this novel, will now be a better fit in the third one.
