End of week:

Gee, just got back from picking up my daughter. It's hot and really sunny!

So how was everyone's week? Mine was pretty busy, as you can tell from my previous posts.

Got really caught up in the writing today. The scene was a long one, a confrontation the main character didn't expect. A total surprise, but totally involved - both physically and emotionally. It's amazing how much it can take out of you. Sometimes when I'm writing, I get so wrapped up in it that I feel like I'm there. The pictures of the scene are playing so vividly inside my mind it feels like I'm watching a movie. Well, this scene was like that. I could see and feel everything like I was caught up in the middle of all the chaos.

It's kinda magical, isn't it?

But here's the progress bar:

( ##############=== )
66,825 / 80,000 : 83.5%

I'm at the stage in the story where the end is so close I can feel it but before getting there, there's still a few things left to happen... to wrap everything up. The way I'm going, it looks like I'll be able to finish before my self-imposed deadline - which is next Friday.

:)
