I really like this series, so I was looking forward to reading this book.
After what Lucas did to her, Secret wants nothing to do with him. She's also keeping her distance from Desmond, though she misses him like crazy. Instead, she's looking for comfort in Holden.
So when Lucas (can't stand this guy) demands that she find his missing sister Kellen, or he'll send Desmond away, she agrees. After all, Kellen is her friend.
What follows is a trail of murders that lead to the beautiful but dangerous world of the Fairies. But everyone knows that dealing with these creatures is not easy. Things are never what they seem, and deals made with the fae are never straightforward.
Secret finds out the hard way when she bargains with their king. :/
I enjoyed this book because it's part of a great series and keeps expanding Secret's world. I do have to admit that because of a few things that happened, it's not one of my fave instalments.
Still looking forward to reading the next one, though. :)
