THE HUNGER GAMES by Suzanne Collins

WINNING WILL MAKE YOU FAMOUS.
LOSING MEANS CERTAIN DEATH.

In a dark vision of the near future, a terrifying reality TV show is taking place. Twelve boys and twelve girls are forced to appear in a live event called the Hunger Games. There is only one rule: KILL OR BE KILLED.
When sixteen-year-old Katniss Everdeen steps forward to take her sister's place in the games, she sees it as a death sentence. But Katniss has been close to death before. For her, survival is second nature.

There's really no point in going into the story, because I think everyone in the world already knows what this book is about... so, I'm just going to say what I thought: I absolutely loved it! I think it's brilliant, and there's nothing I can say that'll summarise just how awesome this story is, or how much I enjoyed every second of it.

I couldn't get it out of my head, and couldn't stop reading. I was totally addicted!

I loved Katniss. I loved Peeta. I loved this dark and twisted world that made my stomach turn sometimes, and excited me the next. And I'm really glad that it's a trilogy because I can't wait to see what's going to happen with Katniss and Peeta now that they're back in District 12.

This was outstanding!
