Do I really need a title today?

Yikes! Where's the week going? We've been doing a lot of real life stuff this week. Had some forms to fill out, cheques to bank, questions to ask, calls to make, bills to pay, groceries to buy, also had to organise for someone to come and take a look at our washing machine. Someone should hopefully pop in to take a look sometime today. It's still on warranty.

In between all of that, I've been busy with revision. I'm working on my SciFi story - codename DT. So far I'm up to page 99/186. I'm taking a short break before diving in to get another chapter out of the way. It's going well, I'm keeping to my daily targets so that I can finish up by Friday. There haven't been any huge things that stick out yet, just some tightening of the story and sentences. Deleting a lot of words that can be replaced, and adding a few sections here and there. The page and word count seems to be going up every day. But that's fine. I just want the story to make sense and come together like it should.

Being the second draft, I don't have the love that I had for it during the initial writing stages. It's to be expected. During the next draft, that's when I'll fall in love with it all over again and get excited and giddy about it. Like I've said before, strange.

Last night we finally caught up with TRUE BLOOD. OMG! I'm absolutely loving this show. I really like that although it pretty much follows the second book in Sookie's series, there are a lot of changes. And the more I watch, the more I like Eric. They totally cast the perfect guy to play him. He's awesome! As if I didn't like Eric enough from the books already. Heee. Heeeee. This is a very exciting show.

Okay, break time's over. It's time to get revisin'. ;)
