It's shitty outside...

But that's okay, I suppose it's perfect reading weather. Especially when the story is set in the town of Forks, where it hardly ever stops raining. :D

Yep. You guessed it. I've already gotten stuck into the second book in the Twilight Series. My husband got home the other night and surprised me with the rest of the books, so I'm super excited and eager to get stuck into them. He's so awesome! :)

Anyway, I started it yesterday and am now up to page 278. I know. I'm serious when I say that I could easily curl up on the couch and spend ALL day just reading these books. My gosh. They're amazing. You know... after someone (don't want to spoil it for anyone who hasn't read them yet, so I won't mention any names) left, I thought the story might fade in intensity a little, but it didn't. It's still awesome, although I do miss that certain someone when he's not on the page. Oh, and I do believe my Jacob Black suspicions might be right, too.

So, last night I decided to finish off that quirky, little tale I started the other day. The final word count is 4,310. It's only a shortie, but I think it's fun. And weird. Yeah, definitely weird, but in an offbeat way. I'm glad I wrote it, and also glad it's done.
Now I just gotta get things straight in my head so I can figure out what to work on next. I'm kinda freaking out a little because there are only four months left in the year. At least I know what I'll be working on during November. I'll be taking part in NaNoWriMo, and will write the sequel to the story I wrote last year. But the other three months, I'm not so sure about. Do I start the new novel that's scraping away at my brain, next month? Or do I concentrate on finalising the handful of half-finished projects I have? I'll have to talk it out with the hubby. He usually helps me put things in perspective.
Okay, the weekend's just around the corner and I can't wait. This one's been a weird week. Have a great one!
