It sold over 12 million copies in the U.S. Today it stands as one of the six best selling hard rock / heavy metal albums ever, and spawned two #1 singles, You Give Love a Bad Name and Livin' On a Prayer. Slippery When Wet hit #1 for 15 weeks, the record for a hard rock album on the Billboard Top 200.

Every song on this album was GREAT! I loved listening to this album, and watching the corresponding filmclips. It goes without saying that I had a certain obsession with BON JOVI during my teenage years and this album was to blame!
