It's Friday...

*breathing a sigh of relief*

And I can rest easy on the weekend knowing I met another self-imposed deadline. Yep, that's right, I got the demon final draft completed by midday today. Yay! I'm really excited. That's three novels finalised. Sure, two of them still need a synopsis, but hey -- I'm excited!

Final word count was 71,444 -- 342 pages in 12 Courier font.

I'm also very happy to have made the decision to finish this novel during last weekend. It was a spur of the moment decision that paid off. I would've felt really bad leaving it hanging the way it was. I had more fun reading the novel this time round. Trying to stifle the sequel ideas on this one, though one of the other characters sparked off an idea or two. Who knows? Maybe one day I'll write her story... but for now. Phew! It's done.

Now, this afternoon I think I'll have to tackle a few home duties I've been ignoring as a result of this latest revision. :) But not before picking up my little girl from school. Gee, that sounds strange. It's still all so new!
