Gloomy...

... weather sure sucks when you're walking in it, but it's fine when you spend the day writing. And since it's pretty much all I do Monday to Friday, the sun hiding behind the clouds isn't so much of a big deal anymore. :)

Or maybe I'm just trying to psyche myself up because Autumn's just around the corner.

During our daily walk there's this really nice path lined with trees on either side beside the river. As you approach it on a sunny day it looks gorgeous and green with a nice breeze to ease the heat. But as we walked in the gloom yesterday, the grass and path was lined with fallen yellow/brown leaves. That's when it hit me -- we're so much closer to autumn than summer now. Agh. It always happens, I mourn the end of summer! :(

Anyway, check this out:

Is it really weird to be so caught up in my own WIP that I just can't bring myself to read anything at the moment? The weekend before starting this first draft I read the beginning of a really cool book and even got halfway through but after starting my own, I just couldn't bring myself to pick it up again. It's like any available moment I've got, I want to spend thinking about my own story - writing down things that keep jumping into my mind at all times of the day and night.

It's a little strange but totally awesome to be enjoying the writing process so much.

Watched the second ep of Six Feet Under today. Gee, these people are really f***ed up! Honestly, they're all insane and totally self-involved, not to mention kinda pathetic! But I absolutely love the show! :D

I SO know what you mean about thinking constantly about your own story. I am so caught up in my own writing lately, that I forget to get in touch with those special people... Like you! Sorry I have been so quiet lately, Y. I've been so wrapped up in writing for the new erotica pub that I can hardly see straight sometimes.
