I really enjoyed the Into Darkness trilogy, so I've been looking forward to reading this one!

Interesting. Addictive. Intriguing worldbuilding.
OMG. This book is so GOOD! I was hooked from the beginning because I loved Layla's voice. She's such a cool character. Easygoing, snarky, speaks her mind, loves deeply, and finds herself thrown into the deep end of a terrible situation. I also loved her parents because they cracked me up!
I actually went in expecting a wolfpack story but found so much more. This world is packed with werewolves, witches, vampires, and other creatures. It's a dangerous world full of violence, politics, and powerful magic. There's also plenty of secrets and the attraction between Layla and Michael sizzles.
Yeah, I really enjoyed everything about this awesome book!
And it doesn't end there. There are actually NINE bonus chapters at the end that continue Layla and Michael's story. The addition definitely added to the original, and even though it left me wanting more, it didn't lessen my enjoyment.
