Still excited!

Yep, I'm still very excited about what I announced yesterday! I can't help thinking about it, and I start to get giddy all over again. :) It's an awesome feeling.

Okay. I just finished my chunk of revision for the day. It's working out to be quite good this week. I get stuck into it as soon as hubby leaves for work (@ 5am) and then keep going until my daughter wakes up. Some mornings, she's decided to have breakfast and then watch a movie before getting on with the day. That's fine with me. ;) The movie she's been hooked on watching the last few days has been Ella Enchanted. I think she's seen that movie a hundred times!

Anyway, I've now reached page 209/428 on the UH revision. I'm almost halfway there. That's great because I'm about 40 pages ahead of my weekly goal. And I'm enjoying the story, too. Not changing much this time around. Mostly deleting words/sentences that don't make sense or I have to read more than once. I've fixed a few other bits and I'm just making sure that all the developing plot points make sense and are consistent. So far, so good.

I started reading this book the other night. It's really good, but with everything that's been going on, I haven't been able to devote as much time to just reading this week. Lol. I love Gena Showalter's Alien Huntress series, so when I found out they had the YA ones at the library, I reserved them. Now I've got both of them waiting to be read.
