Will this rain ever end??

Here I am again! This time, I'm having a hot cup of tea just after getting back from a nice--but cold--walk by the river. ;)

Very cute.

So, I had a strange day yesterday.

For some reason, the very cool Blogger template I'm using (which I love very much!) decided to go wonky on me. I thought maybe there was something up with it, but it turns out there wasn't. I actually contacted the person who 'Bloggerized' it, and he told me it was fine. Plus gave me a link to re-download it. Which I did. After customising it, everything went back to normal.

I find it very strange, but as long as everything looks the way it's supposed to, I don't mind the extra work.

Of course, it cut into my writing time a little. I didn't add the 3k I wanted to, but got close. I ended up adding 2,580 new words. Cool. Which brings the total word count up to 27,551. If I can crack the 30k mark by the end of today's writing session, I'll be happy. :D

I'm also reading a great Samhain Publishing novella on my Kindle at the moment. It's called The Importance of Being Emily by Robyn Bachar. I love the cover! It's a historical with a lot of paranormal elements, and I absolutely love Emily and the world she lives in. It's great so far. Can't wait to see how it all turns out...

Well, that's it for today. Better get going. I need to drop my daughter off at school very soon.
