BLOOD BOUND

Mechanic Mercy Thompson has friends in low places-and in dark ones. And now she owes one of them a favor. Since she can shapeshift at will, she agrees to act as some extra muscle when her vampire friend Stefan goes to deliver a message to another of his kind. But this new vampire is hardly ordinary-and neither is the demon inside of him.

I finished this book yesterday. It was one of those books that when you start reading it, you just can't wait to get to the end because you must know how everything turns out. But when I finished it, I missed it. It's bizarre, but it was that great! I think I enjoyed it even more than the first one, which is insane because I loved that one too.

Anyway, in the second Mercy Thompson book we get deeper into her world and how she fits into all the different facets of the paranormal creatures - werewolves, vampires and fae. There are other creatures mentioned in this one too, and I can't wait to read how she expands further into this wonderful world.

I checked Patricia Briggs' website the other day and found out the next book is called Iron Kissed and deals with the fae community. So that's very cool, can't wait.

If you like urban fantasy tales, you have to check this book out! What Mercy has to go through in this book is intriguing, and so is the ending. I love the cast of characters in this world and Mercy's as true-to-life as a heroine on paper can be.

I'm a fan! :D

You'll have to tell me if you like it. I thought it was EXCELLENT! Having a great reading run now that I've gotten back into the swing of things. :)
